Vi har f\u00e5tt Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night fra fyren som var med p\u00e5 \u00e5 sette subsjangeren p\u00e5 kartet, en str\u00e5lende h\u00e5ndtegnet varianter fra <em>Hollow Knight<\/em> og <em>Ori<\/em> spillene, til og med en skikkelig g\u00f8y Rougelite versjon i form av <em>Dead Cells.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Men noen ganger kan det gjerne bli litt for mye av det gode, og da er det godt \u00e5 kj\u00f8le seg ned med spill som tar det tilbake til det grunnleggende og fokuserer p\u00e5 \u00e5 gj\u00f8re en ting veldig bra. --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 1024\/576;\" \/><\/figure><\/li><\/ul><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Mens <em>Cathedral<\/em>, som jeg jobber med en kvikkblikk video for, velger \u00e5 fokusere p\u00e5 mer retro-inspirert metroidvania i stilen av spill som <em>The Legend of Zelda: Link&#8217;s Adventure <\/em>og <em>WonderBoy<\/em>, dumper Foregone, basert p\u00e5 det jeg har spilt s\u00e5 langt, metroidvania strukturen for en mer line\u00e6r progresjon til fordel for \u00e5 kunne fokusere p\u00e5 et bunnsolid kampsystem med  et loot system som leverer s\u00e5 til de grader at mange hack-n-slash dungeon crawler spill burde v\u00e6re misunnelige.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>B\u00e5de utseendemessig og n\u00e5r det kommer til kampsystemet er det s\u00e5 mye som kan minne om <em>Dead Cells<\/em> i <em>Foregone<\/em> at man ved f\u00f8rste \u00f8yekast gjerne kunne tatt det for \u00e5 v\u00e6re en kopi, men det kunne ikke v\u00e6rt lengre fra sannheten. Skal du f\u00f8rst kopiere et spill hadde ikke <em>Dead Cells<\/em> v\u00e6rt det verste man kunne kopiere, men <em>Foregone<\/em> st\u00e5r meget godt p\u00e5 egne ben med en fantastisk visuell stil, hvor animasjonene til hovedpersonen minner meg om en slags <em>Prince of Persia<\/em> \/ <em>Another World<\/em> form for rotoskopi og alt av omgivelsene stikker seg frem ved god bruk av sterke farger. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hva kampsystemet ang\u00e5r er det s\u00e5 stor forskjell mellom angrepsm\u00f8nstrene og hva man kan f\u00e5 hovedpersonen til \u00e5 gj\u00f8re gjennom kombinasjonene at det like gjerne kunne v\u00e6rt et Team Ninja eller Team Little Devils spill. Ammunisjon fylles opp ved \u00e5 g\u00e5 aktivt inn med n\u00e6rkampsv\u00e5penet og det samme gjelder de to evnene man kan velge \u00e5 sette p\u00e5 hovedpersonen. Nedkj\u00f8lingen til bruken av disse er ikke knyttet til tid slik det er i de fleste andre spill. I <em>Foregone<\/em> er alt knyttet til hvor mange slag du klarer \u00e5 lande p\u00e5 fienden, et system som mater seg selv og holder trykket i spillet oppe gjennom hele opplevelsen<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Det var ganske mye mer dybde \u00e5 finne i Foregone enn hva jeg f\u00f8rst trodde, og jeg forventer det er enda mye jeg ikke har f\u00e5tt sett. Jeg skal innr\u00f8mme at jeg tok dette for \u00e5 v\u00e6re et ganske simplistisk hack-n-slash plattform spill, og det er nok sikkert derfor det har g\u00e5tt under radaren til mange. Men n\u00e5 som jeg har f\u00e5tt pr\u00f8vd det gleder jeg meg noe helt vilt til \u00e5 utforske mer av det. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Foregone er allerede ute p\u00e5 Nintendo Switch, Xbox, PlayStation og PC via Epic Games Store.
