Warren Spector og Ion Storm Austins \u00abDeus Ex\u00bb<\/a> fra 2000 er for mange regnet som et legendarisk spill. Spillet blandet f\u00f8rstepersonskytespill-elementer, rollespill-elementer og eventyrspill-elementer sammen med en handling som virkelig ga konsekvenser for spillernes valg. Oppf\u00f8lgeren \u00abDeus Ex: Invisible War\u00bb<\/a> ble ikke like godt mottatt. Ion Storm hadde denne gangen valgt \u00e5 gi spillet en mer futuristisk f\u00f8lelse samtidig som de tok fokuset bort fra rollespill-elementene. Ion Storm Austin ble stengt i 2005 og Warren Spector er for tiden opptatt med \u00abEpic Mickey\u00bb<\/a> sammen med Junction Point Studios og Disney Interactive. Det tredje spillet i \u00abDeus Ex\u00bb-serien blir derfor utviklet av Eidos Montreal, n\u00e5 eid av Square-Enix Europe. P\u00e5 tross av h\u00f8y skeptisisme er det fortsatt mange som har h\u00f8ye forventinger til oppf\u00f8lgeren, kalt \u00abDeus Ex: Human Revolution\u00bb<\/a>. N\u00e5 f\u00e5r vi endelig noen detaljer fra spillet og Eidos Montreal ga nylig ut en ny trailer til spillet.<\/p>\n

Det var under den n\u00e5 p\u00e5g\u00e5ende Game Developers Conference 2010 i San Francisco at den nye traileren, som kan ses under, ble vist frem. Spillets direkt\u00f8r Jean-Francois Dugas hadde ogs\u00e5 noe \u00e5 si om spillet. Eidos Montreal har bevisst tatt utgangspunkt i det originale \u00abDeus Ex\u00bb og h\u00e5per \u00e5 lage en opplevelse som kan leve opp til originalens premisser. Deres m\u00e5l er \u00e5 levere en perfekt miks mellom b\u00e5de f\u00f8rstepersonskytespill-sjangeren og rollespill-sjangeren. Spillet skal v\u00e6re bygget rundt det \u00e5 gi spillerne flere valg og flere l\u00f8sninger. Det skal derfor gi spillerne mulighet til \u00e5 velge hvordan de vil spille spillet og hvordan de de vil l\u00f8se hver oppgave. De lover ogs\u00e5 et mangfold av valg n\u00e5r det kommer til karakter og v\u00e5pen tilpasning. Eidos Montreal forst\u00e5r ogs\u00e5 hvor stor utfordring det er \u00e5 lage en oppf\u00f8lger til det legendariske \u00abDeus Ex\u00bb og har derfor bestemt seg for \u00e5 fokusere helt og holdent p\u00e5 spillets en-spillermodus. Det vil derfor ikke finnes noe fler-spillermodus i \u00abDeus Ex: Human Revolution\u00bb<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Traileren, som kan ses under, er en s\u00e5kalt CG (datagenerert) film. Det er derfor ingen sann pekepinn p\u00e5 hvordan spillet vil se ut. Derimot avsl\u00f8rer den litt l\u00f8st om spillets hovedkarakter, Adam Jensen. Adam har tydelig ikke akseptert modifikasjonene som har blitt gjort p\u00e5 han, noe som byr p\u00e5 problemer b\u00e5de p\u00e5 hans psyke og for de som jakter p\u00e5 han. Eidos Montreal lover mer fra \u00abDeus Ex: Human Revolution\u00bb<\/a> under E3 litt senere i \u00e5r.<\/p>\n
