Den japanske utvikleren Platinum Games har raskt grunnfestet seg som en nesten legendarisk utvikler. Selskapet best\u00e5r jo tross alt av noen legendariske designere og utviklere. For n\u00e5r det legendariske utviklerlaget bak \u00abResident Evil\u00bb-serien, \u00abOkami\u00bb-serien og \u00abDevil May Cry\u00bb-serien, forlot capcom i 2006. Var det nettopp for \u00e5 grunnlegge sitt eget selskap. Navnet ble Platinum games og det ble fort laget en avtale med den japanske utgiveren Sega. Hittil har de ettertraktede utviklerne allerede gitt ut tre spill. N\u00e5 ble riktignok b\u00e5de \u00abMadworld\u00bb og \u00abInfinite Space\u00bb godt mottatt, men det var nok deres siste tittel, \u00abBayonetta\u00bb, som virkelig satte utviklerne p\u00e5 kartet. Spillet h\u00f8stet noen utrolige anmeldelser verden over, blant annet er det et av tilsammen 14 spill som har f\u00e5tt full pott av det japanske spillmagasinet Famitsu, noe det ogs\u00e5 gjorde her hos oss.<\/p>\n

Forventingene var derfor skyh\u00f8ye allerede f\u00f8r Platinum Games annonserte deres neste prosjekt, som skulle vise seg \u00e5 v\u00e6re et futuristisk skytespill med navn \u00abVanquish\u00bb<\/a>. Det vi vet om spillet er at det vil sette oss inn i en fremtid hvor U.S.A har bygget en gigantisk romstasjon for \u00e5 tappe energi fra solen. Tilspisset blir det selvf\u00f8lgelig n\u00e5r Russland bestemmer seg for \u00e5 ta over romstasjonen, f\u00f8r de bruker dens oppsamlede solenergi til \u00e5 gruslegge San Francisco. Deres h\u00e5p er at U.S.A n\u00e5 vil overgi seg, men isteden sender de inn spesialsoldaten Sam og hans unike kampdrakt. Det er her vi som spillere kommer inn i handlingen og det virker \u00e5 utvikle seg til et episk actionspill. Med utgivelse allerede i oktober i \u00e5r, ville man tro at flod-portene allerede var \u00e5pne, men bortsett fra noen skjermbilder og et par trailere, har det v\u00e6rt veldig lite fra spillet. Det kan derimot virke som om porten har begynt \u00e5 \u00e5pnes. Denne helgen kom det nemlig en ny trailer til spillet, som kan ses under, og denne gir oss endelig et lite innblikk i spillets handling.<\/p>\n
