Som vanlig spilte selskapets eget heavy metal-band, Level 90 Epic Tauren Chieftain, p\u00e5 arrangementet, og denne gangen hadde de invitert vokalist i death metal-bandet Cannibal Corpse, George &#8220;Corpsegrinder&#8221; Fisher, til \u00e5 bidra p\u00e5 l\u00e5ta &#8220;For the Horde&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Corpsegrinder har tidligere gjort seg kjent p\u00e5 YouTube etter at han for fire \u00e5r siden ble intervjuet av et dansk metalmagasin, noe som endte med en mange minutter lang utbasunering mot Alliance-spillere i <em>World of Warcraft.<\/em> Han er selvutnevnt &#8220;patetisk nerd&#8221; n\u00e5r det kommer til <em>WoW, <\/em>og Blizzard har til og med laget en figur i spillet oppkalt etter ham, Gorge the Corpsegrinder.<\/p>\n<h5>Corpsegrinder-intro<\/h5>\n<p>For \u00e5 introdusere Corpsegrinder p\u00e5 scenen p\u00e5 BlizzCon, ble det vist et kort og sensurert klipp fra seansen, noe som har falt b\u00e5de homofile og Alliance-spillere tungt for brystet.<\/p>\n<p> <object width=\"460\" height=\"325\" data=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/U2yvZM1wn04?version=3&#038;hl=nb_NO\" type=\"application\/x-shockwave-flash\"><param name=\"data\" value=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/U2yvZM1wn04?version=3&#038;hl=nb_NO\" \/><param name=\"allowFullScreen\" value=\"true\" \/><param name=\"allowscriptaccess\" value=\"always\" \/><param name=\"src\" value=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/U2yvZM1wn04?version=3&#038;hl=nb_NO\" \/><param name=\"allowfullscreen\" value=\"true\" \/><\/object> <\/p>\n<h5>Kontrovers<\/h5>\n<p>Over tre enorme tr\u00e5der p\u00e5 det offisielle <em>WoW<\/em>-forumet (<a href=\"http:\/\/us.battle.net\/wow\/en\/forum\/topic\/3424796168?page=1\">1<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/us.battle.net\/wow\/en\/forum\/topic\/3424466243\">2<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/us.battle.net\/wow\/en\/forum\/topic\/3430806685?page=1#0\">3<\/a>) har det de siste dagene blitt hyppig diskutert om de involverte Blizzard-ansatte p\u00e5 scenen burde miste jobben for \u00e5 vise klippet, og Alliance-spillere beskriver klimaet p\u00e5 BlizzCon som Horde-vennlig i den grad at de frykter for sin egen helse n\u00e5r de oppholder seg der.<\/p>\n<p>Blizzard har derfor sendt ut en offisiell unnskyldning via nettstedet <a href=\"http:\/\/gaygamer.net\/2011\/10\/blizzard_president_apologizes.html\">Gay Gamer<\/a>, hvor selskapets president og medlem i bandet Mike Morhaime, beklager at folk ble st\u00f8tt.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Vi beklager for v\u00e5re feil og for \u00e5 ha st\u00f8tt noen.
