Maskinvareprodusenten Razer har annonsert Project Fiona<\/em>, en kombinasjon av PC og nettbrett designet for \u00e5 spille PC-spill.<\/p>\n

Razer, mest kjent for utviklingen av spillutstyr som muser, musematter og tastaturer, annonserte p\u00e5 ukens Consumer Electronic Show (CES) i Las Vegas en mildt sagt ny type h\u00e5ndholdt spillmaskin. Ved f\u00f8rste \u00f8yekast ser Project Fiona<\/em>\u00a0ut som en iPad med en Playstation Move-kontrollere klistret p\u00e5 hver side, men n\u00e6rmere inspeksjon p\u00e5 spesifikasjonene forteller en litt annen historie.<\/p>\n

Project Fiona<\/em>\u00a0kommer til \u00e5 ha en i7-prossessor under sin 10.1″ skjerm, og st\u00f8tter en oppl\u00f8sning p\u00e5 1280×800 piksler. Sammen med de \u00e5penbare stikkene og knappene p\u00e5 sidekontrollerne, er det st\u00f8tte for Force Feedback og \u00a0gyro over tre akser, magnetometer og aksellerometer. Skjermen st\u00f8tter multitouch, og det er mulig \u00e5 spille av THX-sertifisert Dolby-lyd i 7.1 kanaler. Ingen pingle, med andre ord.<\/p>\n

Konsollen\/nettbrettet\/laptopen er rettet mot hardcore-segmentet av spillere, og skal v\u00e6re i stand til \u00e5 spille de aller fleste PC-spill p\u00e5 markedet uten problemer. Det skal ikke v\u00e6re noe behov for \u00e5 endre p\u00e5 spillene for \u00e5 gj\u00f8re dem kompatible med Fiona<\/em>, men Razer oppfordrer utviklere til \u00e5 ha den spesielle todelte PC-kontrolleren i minne n\u00e5r de kommer opp med kontrollsystem for spillene sine.\u00a0<\/p>\n
