Bioware planlegger et system for \u00e5 opprette familieb\u00e5nd mellom spillernes figurer, s\u00e5kalte “alter”, i nettrollespillet Star Wars: The Old Republic (SWTOR).<\/em><\/p>\n

Hold det i familien<\/h5>\n

I et nylig intervju med nettstedet Gamespot<\/a>, forteller hovedansvarlig for SWTOR <\/em>James Ohlen om hans og Biowares mange fremtidsplaner for spillet. Blant de mest fremtredende spillkonseptene p\u00e5 horisonten finner vi Legacy-systemet, som er inspirert av de mange sterke familieb\u00e5ndene i Star Wars<\/em>-filmene.<\/p>\n

– I stedet for \u00e5 bare ha en haug med figurer som ikke har noe forhold til hverandre, kan du faktisk opprette et familietre hvor “altene” dine kan v\u00e6re i slekt med hovedfiguren din, enten som s\u00f8sken, s\u00f8nn, far, familievenn eller mann og kone, forteller Ohlen.<\/p>\n

Alt er lov<\/h5>\n

Legacy-systemet vil ha egne erfaringspoeng og niv\u00e5er, som videre vil \u00e5pne opp nye evner, perks og andre fordeler i spillet, og alle i “familien” vil kunne benytte seg av disse.<\/p>\n

– Vi \u00f8nsket \u00e5 komme opp med et system som oppfordrer spillerne til \u00e5 opprette “alter” og spille gjennom de forskjellige historiene. (…) Jeg tror folk kommer til \u00e5 sette pris p\u00e5 det, og det er noe vi \u00f8nsker \u00e5 gi spillere som liker \u00e5 jobbe seg opp i niv\u00e5er. Det blir ogs\u00e5 fordelaktig p\u00e5 \u00f8verste niv\u00e5, men det har i hovedsak en rekke fordeler som gj\u00f8r jobben enda morsommere, og som lar deg tilpasse opplevelsen selv, utdyper sjefsutvikleren.<\/p>\n

Det nye Legacy-systemet blir sannsynligvis inkludert i den andre planlagte oppdateringspakken med nytt innhold for spillet. Den f\u00f8rste kommer allerede 17. januar, og innleder en if\u00f8lge Bioware enorm historie for de p\u00e5 50. niv\u00e5, hvor de skal stoppe en invasjon av Rakghouls (for de som husker disse eklingene fra Knights of the Old Republic<\/em>-spillene).
