Dr. Phillip Zimbardo har, sammen med sin assistent Nikita Dunkan skrevet boka “The Demise of Guys: Why Boys Are Struggling and What We Can Do About It”, hvor spill og porno legges til grunn for unge gutter sliter med forhold, skole og jobb, melder CNN<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Opphisselse<\/h5>\n

Dagens ungdom sliter, mener Zimbardo, som nok er mest kjent for sitt anerkjente Stanford Prison Expriment<\/em>\u00a0fra 1971, da 24 studenter ble plassert i roller som fanger eller fangevoktere i et fiktivt fengsel. N\u00e5 har han alts\u00e5 skrevet bok om “ungdommen n\u00e5 til dags”.<\/p>\n

Ungdommen sliter med avhengighet, p\u00e5st\u00e5r han. Men det er ikke snakk om narkotika eller alkohol, men snarere opphisselse. Og i jakten p\u00e5 opphisselse er det ikke st\u00f8rre eller sterkere doser som er veien – det er det evige jaget etter variasjon.<\/p>\n

Kilden til denne opphisselsen finner dagens ungdom i dataspill og porno, hevder Zimbardo, som legger til at de med sm\u00e5 sosiale nettverk, gjerne har et proporsjonelt st\u00f8rre forbruk av disse. I stedet for \u00e5 sl\u00e5 seg til ro med rutiner og vaner, jager ungdommen i stedet nye utfordringer, og sliter derfor med \u00e5 gjennomf\u00f8re studier eller med \u00e5 holde p\u00e5 jobben sin.<\/p>\n

Zimbardo argumenterer med at m\u00e5ten ungdom er blitt vant til \u00e5 motta informasjon og nytt innhold p\u00e5 – representert med porno og spill – \u00a0gj\u00f8r det tradisjonelle arbeids- og skolem\u00f8nsteret lite attraktivt. Det ser imidlertid ut til at det er ungdommen som skal endre seg, ikke de tradisjonelle handlingsm\u00f8nstrene de har “vokst” fra.<\/span><\/p>\n

Klassiske skrekkeksempler<\/h5>\n

– Det eksisterer et generelt overforbruk av spill og porno – spesielt i sosial isolasjon – noe som ikke balanseres ut med andre aktiviteter som trening, ansiktskontakt med andre eller alenetid med en form for mannlig mentor, forteller Duncan i et intervju med TED, som ogs\u00e5 gir ut boka.<\/p>\n

Boka tar ogs\u00e5 opp vold i spill, og hevder at unders\u00f8kelser har vist at man blir mer aggressiv og tilb\u00f8yelig for vold n\u00e5r man spiller voldelige dataspill.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Grunnlaget for de negative funksjonene fra dataspill har de i stor grad hentet fra de sedvanlige skrekkeksemplene, blant annet han som d\u00f8de i Korea etter 50 timer StarCraft-<\/em>spilling i strekk. Men ogs\u00e5 Anders Behring Breivik ble hentet frem som b\u00e5de World of Warcraft-<\/em>\u00a0og Call of Duty<\/em>-spiller.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
