Micosoft har krevet at det tsjekkiske nettstedet\u00a0\u00a0Ihned.cz<\/a>\u00a0fjerner det til n\u00e5 antatt falske 56-siders dokumentet, som nevner en rekke planer for den s\u00e5kalte Xbox 720, melder Eurogamer<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Tilsynelatende falskt<\/h5>\n

Da vi p\u00e5 l\u00f8rdag skrev om det tilsynelatende falske dokumentet p\u00e5 56 sider, som utga seg for \u00e5 v\u00e6re et to \u00e5r gammelt internskriv om Microsofts konsollplaner, var det vanskelig \u00e5 holde tilbake skepsisen. Med unntak av noen f\u00e5, spektakul\u00e6re nyheter, som 3D-briller for Kinect 2 og en prislapp p\u00e5 299 dollar, bestod teksten i all hovedsak av allerede annonserte eller ryktede elementer. I tillegg ble navnet Xbox 720 konstant brukt, i stedet for Durango, som er Microsofts arbeidstittel. Flere p\u00e5pekte ogs\u00e5 at illustrasjonene og utformingen ligger mange hakk under Microsofts sedvanlige standard.<\/p>\n

Erkl\u00e6rer eierskap<\/h5>\n

Men n\u00e5, ut av det bl\u00e5, har plutselig Microsoft b\u00e5de erkl\u00e6rt eierskap p\u00e5 dokumentet de kaller et IEB-kart (Interactive Entertainment Business), og samtidig krevd at det respekterte tsjekkiske Ihned.cz<\/a>\u00a0fjerner det fra sine sider. Hvorvidt det er fordi det omhandler deres patenter, eller faktisk er lekkede internskriv, er vanskelig \u00e5 si. Ogs\u00e5 Scribd, hvor dokumentet f\u00f8rst oppstod, har blitt bedt om \u00e5 fjerne det fra sine servere, men da av advokatfirmaet Covington & Birling LLP, som blant annet har Microsoft p\u00e5 klientlisten sin.<\/p>\n

Microsoft has ordered a website to remove the leaked Xbox 720 document – adding credibility to it in the process.<\/div>\n
In a takedown notice sent to Czech Republic technology site Ihned.cz (via The Verge), Microsoft claimed ownership of the document, which it called “IEB Roadmap”. IEB stands for Interactive Entertainment Business, the Microsoft division responsible for Xbox.<\/div>\n
Our Czech Republic cousins at Eurogamer.cz (good luck tonight!) told us the report is accurate. On Monday, Ihned.cz, described as a “well-respected site created by the business newspaper Hospodarske noviny, received the warning from Microsoft after running a story on the leak.<\/div>\n
This latest takedown notice comes after law firm Covington & Birling LLP asked Scribd, from which the leak first emerged, to remove it from its servers. C&B lists Microsoft as one of its clients.<\/div>\n
The 56-page-long document, dated August 2010, presciently mentioned Xbox SmartGlass, as well as Blu-ray support, 3D glasses, a focus on cloud-based gaming and a newly-improved Kinect system.<\/div>\n
This week Microsoft responded to the leak, issuing Eurogamer the following statement:<\/div>\n
“We understand there is great interest and anticipation for what comes next for Xbox and we are lucky to have customers who are so passionate about the platform.<\/div>\n
“Today, there has never been a better time to own an Xbox 360 console. We have found new ways to extend the console lifecycle by introducing controller-free experiences with Kinect and we’ve re-invented the console with a new dashboard and new entertainment content partnerships.<\/div>\n
“We are continually thinking about the future of the platform and when we have something to share, we will.”<\/div>\n

Microsoft har tidligere svart sv\u00e6rt unnvikende n\u00e5r de har blitt bedt om uttalelser om det p\u00e5st\u00e5tt lekkede dokumentet, og har i stedet valgt \u00e5 fokusere p\u00e5 Xbox 360s forlengede levetid.<\/p>\n

Blant h\u00f8ydepunktene i dokumentet fant vi Blu-ray-st\u00f8tte, bakoverkompatibilitet, Kinect 2 med HD, nyannonserte SmartGlass, streaming av spill via nettskyen og et enormt fokus p\u00e5 ogs\u00e5 film og musikk.
