I et takkebrev til ansatte i butikkjeden GameStop, r\u00f8per Ubisoft at de har et eget team som allerede er godt i gang med utvikling av DLC for Assassin’s Creed III<\/em>, som slippes i oktober.<\/p>\n

Forh\u00e5ndsbetaling<\/h5>\n

Brevet dukket opp etter at butikkjeden n\u00e5dde sine planlagte forh\u00e5ndsbestillingsm\u00e5l. I brevet, som ble videresendt til nettstedet Kotaku, forteller Ubisoft at de har formet et eget team som kun jobber med kommende ekstrainnhold til spillet, og at de skal “ta DLC til et helt nytt niv\u00e5”.<\/p>\n

Det h\u00f8res med andre ord ut som at det kommer b\u00e5de mye og hyppig, og utgiveren har derfor startet forh\u00e5ndssalget av et s\u00e5kalt Season Pass, en ordning som normalt inneb\u00e6rer at man forh\u00e5ndsbetaler for et visst antall utvidelser, men til en redusert pris.<\/p>\n

\u00c5 annonsere utvidelser og ekstrainnhold mens selve spillet fremdeles er i utvikling regnes stort sett som en uting i spillbransjen, da en generell holdning er at innhold som produseres f\u00f8r ferdigstilling av hovedproduktet b\u00f8r v\u00e6re inkludert i pakken p\u00e5 lansering. At Ubisoft har samlet et eget team for oppgaven setter dem riktig nok i en b\u00e5s for seg i denne sammenhengen, men det gjenst\u00e5r \u00e5 se om det holder for fansen.<\/p>\n
