Konseptdesigner Jason Wilson i Sony Cambridge har lagt ut bilder fra en rekke kansellerte prototyper for Playstation 3-spill p\u00e5 bloggen sin<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Tapte dr\u00f8mmer<\/h5>\n

Spillene som nevnes i bloggen er prosjekter som enten har v\u00e6rt p\u00e5 tegnebrettet eller et stykke ut i produksjonen f\u00f8r de har blitt skrinlagt av studioet, som tidligere har laget Playstation-klassikere som MediEvil-<\/em>spillene\u00a0<\/em>og Ghost Hunter<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Simians<\/strong><\/h5>\n

I PlayStation Eye-spillet Simians<\/em>\u00a0skulle spilleren kommunisere med sm\u00e5 apelignende skapninger p\u00e5 en merkelig jungelplanet, og var et fors\u00f8k p\u00e5 \u00e5 lage noe annet enn party-spill for Playstation 3-kameraet. Eventyrspillet st\u00f8ttet et begrenset vokabular av tegnspr\u00e5k og ord, men ble kansellert da det ble ansett for altfor ambisi\u00f8st for teknologien i PlayStation Eye. Deler av konseptet ble derfor kokt ned til det vi i dag kjenner som EyePet<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Manhattan<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Overlevelses- og zombiespill er tilbake for fullt i 2012, men allerede i 2006 jobbet Sony Cambridte med Manhattan<\/em>, et f\u00f8rstepersons skytespill hvor m\u00e5let var \u00e5 unnslippe Los Angeles, etter at byen ble stengt av i karantene p\u00e5 grunn av et virusutbrudd. Spillet hadde ogs\u00e5 strategiske elementer, da man skulle redde og frakte overlevende til sjekkpunkt p\u00e5 veien.<\/p>\n

Revolution 4<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Dette spillet kom aldri lenger enn til forslagsfasen, f\u00f8r det ble kansellert. Utgangspunktet var at Storbritannia ble innvadert av monstre fra verdensrommet, litt som i War of the Worlds<\/em>. Det viste seg at Insomniac allerede var fullt i gang med et lignende konsept ved navn Resistance: Fall of Man<\/em>, s\u00e5 prosjektet forlot aldri tegnebrettet.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Zodiac Assassin<\/strong><\/h5>\n

I et Kill Bill<\/em>-inspirert konsept, skulle spilleren kontrollere en kvinnelig leiemorder som reiste over hele verden for \u00e5 knerte m\u00e5lene sine. Forkledninger skulle v\u00e6re en sentral del av Zodiac Assassin<\/em>, som skulle ta spilleren rundt over hele verden, blant annet til Tyrkia, Japan og Mexico under feiringen av De d\u00f8des dag. Spillet ble aldri noe av, da Sony valgte \u00e5 heller satse p\u00e5 Heavenly Sword.<\/em><\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
