{"id":6122,"date":"2012-08-29T11:10:04","date_gmt":"2012-08-29T11:10:04","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2012-08-29T10:56:31","modified_gmt":"2012-08-29T10:56:31","slug":"funcom-senker-ambisjonene","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/spill.no\/en\/funcom-senker-ambisjonene\/","title":{"rendered":"Funcom senker ambisjonene"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Det norske spillstudioet Funcom vil satse p\u00e5 mindre spillprosjekter etter at salg og mottakelse av <em>The Secret World<\/em>\u00a0har skuffet.<\/p>\n<h5>Svake tall<\/h5>\n<p>Onlinespillet har f\u00e5tt blandet mottakelse i media &#8211; her i Spill.no fikk det <a href=\"\/konspirasjonene-lenge-leve\">en solid femmer<\/a> &#8211; og dette har if\u00f8lge studioet selv v\u00e6rt med \u00e5 sikre et betraktelig lavere lanseringssalg enn forventet. Med knapt 200 000 solgte s\u00e5 langt siden lansering 29. juni, har studioet over halvert prognosene for de f\u00f8rste tolv m\u00e5nedene p\u00e5 markedet.<\/p>\n<p>Andre faktorer Funcom nevner, er at rivalene <em>Diablo 3<\/em>, <em>Guild Wars 2<\/em>\u00a0og <em>World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria<\/em>\u00a0alle kom med annonseringer i oppkj\u00f8ringen til\u00a0<em>The Secret World<\/em>, og at spesielt <em>Guild Wars 2<\/em>\u00a0og <em>Diablo 3<\/em>\u00a0har f\u00e5tt mer oppmerksomhet enn forventet.<\/p>\n<h5>Mindre prosjekter<\/h5>\n<p>Vi har tidligere fortalt om at Funcom som konsekvens har g\u00e5tt til <a href=\"\/funcom-sier-opp-ansatte\">massive oppsigelser<\/a>, og har omtrent halvert staben, som er fordelt over hele verden. N\u00e5 vil de ogs\u00e5 g\u00e5 til tiltak for \u00e5 begynne \u00e5 tjene penger igjen. Ett av disse tiltakene g\u00e5r ut p\u00e5 \u00e5 satse p\u00e5 mindre spill med spillerdrevet innhold, og fortsette \u00e5 bruke DreamWorld Engine, spillmotoren bak <em>Age of Conan<\/em>\u00a0og <em>The Secret World.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em> <\/em>Funcom har i tillegg inng\u00e5tt en <a href=\"\/funcom-lego-sant\">avtale med Lego<\/a>, og jobber for tiden p\u00e5 et nettrollespill basert p\u00e5 den popul\u00e6re leket\u00f8yserien.
