Den mildt sagt lenge etterlengtede oppf\u00f8lgeren til eventyrspillet Dreamfall: The Longest Journey<\/em>, er n\u00e5 i pre-produksjonsfasen, melder Funcom p\u00e5 sine sider<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Tilbake til Arcadia<\/h5>\n

Dreamfall<\/em>, eller Dr\u00f8mmefall, <\/em>som den norske utgaven av spillet het, fulgte opp supersuksessen Den lengste reisen<\/em> (The Longest Journey<\/em> for anglofile), og helt siden 2007 har det v\u00e6rt planer om \u00e5 fortsette historien om Zoe, April Ryan og den fragile balansen mellom v\u00e5r verden, Stark, og den magiske verdenen Arcadia. Vi har med andre ord ventet fem \u00e5r p\u00e5 en bekreftelse, noe som er temmelig lenge, selv for t\u00e5lmodige eventyrspillere.<\/p>\n

Utviklingen er det det nyoppstartede Red Thread Games som skal ta seg av. I spissen finner vi tidligere Funcom-profil Ragnar T\u00f8rnquist, som har st\u00e5tt for handlingen i de forrige spillene i serien. T\u00f8rnquist fortsetter som kreativ r\u00e5dgiver for Funcoms storsatsing Secret World<\/em>, mens Joel Bylos overtar hovedansvaret for spillet.<\/p>\n

Takk til Funcom<\/h5>\n

-Jeg er veldig glad for \u00e5 endelig\u00a0 ha muligheten til \u00e5 fortsette Den lengste reisen-<\/em>sagaen. Helt siden vi endte Dr\u00f8mmefall<\/em> med en nervepirrende cliffhanger, har spillere forst\u00e5elig nok krevd en oppf\u00f8lger. Min avtale med Funcom gj\u00f8r dette mulig. Jeg er enormt takknemlig overfor Funcom for denne unike og spennende oppgaven, og kan nesten ikke vente med \u00e5 stupe tilbake i universet jeg var med \u00e5 skape for over et ti\u00e5r siden, forteller T\u00f8rnquiist i pressemeldingen.<\/p>\n

Avtalen han snakker om, er en lisensavtale, hvor Funcom lisensierer ut rettighetene til serien, som de fremdeles eier. Planen er at oppf\u00f8lgeren skal deles opp i episoder, og en lanseringsdato for f\u00f8rste episode vil if\u00f8lge Funcom dukke opp p\u00e5 et senere tidspunkt.<\/p>\n

Dreamfall Episodes utvikles av Red Thread Games. Lanseringsdato er enn\u00e5 ikke offentliggjort. Den lengste reisen og Dr\u00f8mmefall ble lansert i henholdsvis 1999 og 2006.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
