Blizzard er allerede i gang med etterf\u00f8lgeren til det kommende StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm<\/em>, bekrefter studioet i en sp\u00f8rrerunde p\u00e5 nettstedet Reddit<\/a>.<\/p>\n

M\u00f8tte fansen p\u00e5 nett<\/h5>\n

B\u00e5de spillregiss\u00f8r Dustin Bowder, sjefprogramutvikler Alan Dabiri og balansedesigner David Kim dukket opp i en s\u00e5kalt AMA(Ask Me Anything)-tr\u00e5d p\u00e5 nettstedet for \u00e5 svare p\u00e5 sp\u00f8rsm\u00e5l fra publikum. Ikke overraskende var det mange som lurte p\u00e5 det tredje spillet i StarCraft II-<\/em>sagaen, Legacy of the Void.<\/em><\/p>\n

– Vi er allerede i gang med historien og manus for Legacy<\/em>, bekrefter Bowder.<\/p>\n

N\u00e5 som det kommende Zerg-tillegget StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm<\/em>\u00a0endelig er ferdigstilt, har store deler av utviklingsteamet allerede begynt \u00e5 jobbe p\u00e5 Legacy of the Void, <\/em>mens andre har blitt satt til \u00e5 fullf\u00f8re Blizzard All-Stars<\/em>, som er en MOBA-utfordrer til spill som Dota 2.<\/em><\/p>\n

Aldri igjen<\/h5>\n

Teamet legger store mengder ressurser i \u00e5 forhindre et nytt skrekkscenario som da studiet slapp Diablo III<\/em>\u00a0i fjor, og serverene knelte under presset av millioner av dag 1-kunder. Sikring av servere er derfor en prioritert oppgave, forklarer Alan Dabiri.<\/p>\n

– Vi har l\u00e6rt mye fra tidligere lanseringer, inkludert den for Wings of Liberty<\/em>, og vi gj\u00f8r alt vi kan for \u00e5 forsikre at denne lanseringen g\u00e5r s\u00e5 glatt som mulig. Vi har en fordel med at vi utvikler for en eksisterende plattform som har utviklet seg over en rekke \u00e5r, forklarer Dabiri.<\/p>\n

Tre kapitler, tre raser<\/span><\/h5>\n

Mens Wings of Liberty, <\/em>det f\u00f8rste kapittelet i StarCraft II-<\/em>serien, omhandlet menneskene, eller Terrans, og det n\u00e6rt forest\u00e5ende StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm<\/em>\u00a0ta for seg den insektlignende Zerg-rasen.
