Games For Windows Live-tjenesten har ikke akkurat v\u00e6rt noen favoritt blant PC-spillere, noe som ikke gj\u00f8r tjenestens framtidige nedleggelse til noen stor overraskelse. Det er imidlertid mange spill som tar i bruk tjenesten, og mange undrer nok p\u00e5 hva som skjer med de n\u00e5r GFWL stenges.\u00a0<\/p>\n

2K Games’ Bioshock 2 var et av spillene som brukte Games For Windows Live, fram til 2K nylig bestemte seg for \u00e5 v\u00e6re f\u00f8re var og ta saken i egne hender. N\u00e5 er nemlig GFWL fjernet fra spillet, og erstattet med Valves Steam-tjeneste.<\/p>\n

P\u00e5 2Ks supportsider <\/a>har de besvart forskjellige sp\u00f8rsm\u00e5l relatert til overgangen. Blant annet vil de som har kj\u00f8pt spillet utenfor Steam, enten i fysisk format eller digitalt, enkelt og greit kunne reaktivere produktkoden i Steam for \u00e5 f\u00e5 full tilgang til spillet der. I tillegg vil alle koder som aktiveres gi tilgang p\u00e5 samtlige av spillets nedlastbare pakker, men statistikk fra flerspillermodusen, lagringsfiler og prestasjoner vil dessverre forsvinne for alle, inkludert for de som har spillet p\u00e5 Steam fra f\u00f8r.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Dersom man ikke har Bioshock 2 p\u00e5 Steam, og kj\u00f8per det n\u00e5, vil man ogs\u00e5 f\u00e5 med tre av spillets utvidelsespakker. Minerva’s Den, som serverer en ny, isolert historie f\u00f8lger dog ikke med, men kan n\u00e5 kj\u00f8pes p\u00e5 Steam.<\/p>\n

Hva som skjer med GFWL-spill er for tiden litt uklart, men forh\u00e5pentligvis vil flere f\u00f8lge i fotsporene til 2K Games, og gj\u00f8re spillene spillbar utenfor GFWL hvis tjenesten stenges.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
