Vi st\u00e5r ovenfor en revolusjon innenfor spillindustrien. En ny konsollgenerasjon er kommet og med abisi\u00f8se prosjekter som Oculus Rift og SteamOS, er det mye \u00e5 se fram til de neste \u00e5rene. Spilling generelt har hatt et enormt l\u00f8ft de siste \u00e5rene, vi har sett store prosjekter som Grand Theft Auto V knuse alle salgsrekorder, vi har f\u00e5tt smake p\u00e5 revolusjonerende smakebiter fra FPS verdenen i form av Titanfall og Battlefield 4, vi har f\u00e5tt servert en thriller av en historie i Indiespillet The Last of Us, vi har sett en eSport industri vokse seg frem via spill som League of Legends, StarCraft II og Call of Duty Black Ops II, og ikke minst har vi blitt overveldet av virtual reality i form av Oculus Rift.\u00a0Hva er det jeg vil fram til sp\u00f8r du? Det jeg vil fram til er mulighetene og fremtiden.<\/span><\/p>\n

eSport<\/strong><\/p>\n

Vi mennesker har alltid hatt et konkuranseinnstinkt. Vi elsker sport. Over hele verden samles millioner av tv-seere n\u00e5r det er duket for Champions-Leauge eller Super Bowl. Men hva er sport? Hva kan deffineres som sport? M\u00e5 man forbrenne et vist antall kallorier? M\u00e5 det v\u00e6re utend\u00f8rs? Kan dataspill regnes som ekte sport? Ofte tenker man p\u00e5 hvordan sport har utviklet seg fra \u00e5 bare kunne gj\u00f8res p\u00e5 fotballbanen, til Magnus Karlsen kan site stille p\u00e5 en stol \u00e5 drive idrett med bare. Er sjakk en ekte sport? Nei vil mange si, mens andre vil si at det absolutt er en type idrett. Hvordan er det med da med eSport? Kan man kalle Erlend “Nukeduck” V\u00e5tevik Holm for en idretsutd\u00f8ver p\u00e5 lik linje med Mangnus Karlsen?<\/p>\n

En ny generasjon<\/strong><\/p>\n

Den nye generasjonen har kommet i form av Sony Entertainments Playstation 4 og Microsofts Xbox One. Med oppgradert grafikk, nye spillmotorer og banebrytende spillmekanikker kan vi ringe inn \u00e5ret 2014 med starten av det vi om noen \u00e5r vil se p\u00e5 som et stort steg i riktig rettning. Enkelte vil kanskje si at en svak og tr\u00f8blete lansering med et svakt lanseringsbiblotek har svekket konsollenes rykte, men faktum er at det vi n\u00e5 har sett, bare er begynnelsen p\u00e5 noe mye mye st\u00f8rre. Kan man sammenligne PS3 sine lanseringsspillene Call of Duty 3 og Rainbow Six Vegas med storspill som GTAV og The Last of Us. Den nye generasjonen har bare gitt oss et kort glimt av mulighetene og kraften i maskinen.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Fremtiden<\/strong><\/p>\n

I tillegg til den nye konsollgenerasjonen har spill\u00e5ret 2013 bydd p\u00e5 enkelte revolusjonerende smakebiter av fremtiden i form av Oculus Rift og SteamOS. SteamOS vil mest sansynlig bli lansert i l\u00f8pet av 2014 og med en ny h\u00e5ndkontroller med spaker som er byttet ut med touch-pads for \u00e5 immitere mus og tastatur i form av den perfekte h\u00e5ndkontrolleren. Vil de lykkes, vil SteamOS og den nye h\u00e5ndkontrolleren sl\u00e5 ann? Min sp\u00e5dom er et rungende ja.<\/p>\n

Oculus Rift er kort forklart Virtual Reality med to skjermer som dekker \u00f8ynene og bevegelses sensorer som flytter skjermen med bevegelsene du foretar deg, du blir sugd inn i opplevelsen og selv med et grafikkniv\u00e5 som tar oss tilbake til slutten av 90-tallet er realismen til \u00e5 ta og f\u00f8le p\u00e5. Om vi gir denne flunk nye teknologien noen \u00e5r, vil vi kunne se spill, filmer og kanskje alternative underholdningsformer i full HD Virtual Reality.<\/p>\n

Spillfremtiden ser veldig lys ut, og jeg kan ikke vente til \u00e5 se hva \u00e5rene vil bringe.\u00a0<\/p>\n
