Noen av de mest sentrale personene bak Assassin’s Creed-serien stilte ig\u00e5r opp for en s\u00e5kalt AMA p\u00e5 nettstedet Reddit, der de svarte p\u00e5 en hel del sp\u00f8rsm\u00e5l fra ivrige fans. De kunne blant annet avsl\u00f8re at utviklingen av Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag til nestegenerasjonskonsollene har g\u00e5tt kjempebra, og at de forel\u00f8pig ikke har noen planer om en fortsettelse eller neddykking i historien om Connor – helten i Assassin’s Creed III.<\/p>\n

Tilbake til n\u00e5tiden?<\/h5>\n

Det muligens mest interessante sp\u00f8rsm\u00e5let som ble svart p\u00e5 dreide seg imidlertid om hvorvidt Ubisoft vurderer \u00e5 trekke moderne snikmordere inn i kampen mot tempelridderne igjen. Her m\u00e5tte de dessverre skuffe de som h\u00e5pet p\u00e5 et st\u00f8rre fokus p\u00e5 dagens verden, og Black Flag-forfatter Darby McDevitt svarte at de for \u00f8yeblikket tviler p\u00e5 at noe slikt vil dukke opp i fremtidige spill:<\/p>\n

“Jeg tviler p\u00e5 at vi kommer til \u00e5 lage et moderne Assassin’s Creed. Det er rett og slett for mange ting vi m\u00e5 utvikle for at det skal virke troverdig, som kj\u00f8ret\u00f8y, levende, moderne byer, et vidt spekter av nye v\u00e5pen osv.”<\/em><\/p>\n

Han avrunder med \u00e5 si at det moderne aspektet i Assassin’s Creed nok kun vil fortsette som et bakteppe for historien. Det forest\u00e5ende Watch Dogs hevder han imidlertid vil gj\u00f8re opp for denne uttalelsen, og at vi bare trenger \u00e5 vente til det lanseres v\u00e5ren 2014.<\/p>\n
