For kun noen dager siden sprang det fram et rykte om at det neste spillet i Hitman-serien var kansellert. Heldigvis for fans av den skallede snikmorderen viste det seg i ettertid at kansellering-ryktene kun skyldtes en misledende profilbeskrivelse p\u00e5 nettstedet LinkedIn – Agent 47 lever i beste velg\u00e5ende.<\/p>\n

IO Interactive har n\u00e5 bestemt seg for \u00e5 lette p\u00e5 sl\u00f8ret rundt det neste tillegget til Hitman-serien. Dette ble gjort via et \u00e5pent brev<\/a> som i g\u00e5r ble publisert p\u00e5 deres nettsider.<\/p>\n

Det neste Hitman-prosjektet kommer som forventet til PC og neste generasjons konsoller (hvorvidt det inkluderer Wii U eller ikke er ukjent), og IO melder ifra om at de for tiden retter alt fokus og alt av ressurser mot spillet.<\/p>\n

Tilbake til r\u00f8ttene?<\/h5>\n

Ut fra IO Interactives \u00e5pne brev om neste Hitman-spill, kan det se ut til at de vil ta serien tilbake til dens r\u00f8tter. Spillet fokuserer angivelig p\u00e5 det utviklerne kaller den “grunnleggende Hitman-fantasien”<\/em>, og spillere vil f\u00e5 f\u00f8lge Agent 47 p\u00e5 oppdrag over hele verden.<\/p>\n

IO hevder at de har kombinert l\u00e6rdommen fra Hitman: Absolution, som mildt sagt har f\u00e5tt blandet mottakelse fra fansen, med inspirasjon fra de tidligere spillene i serien. De som mislikte Absolutions mer str\u00f8mlinjeformede struktur kan se fram til det som skal v\u00e6re de st\u00f8rste niv\u00e5ene i noe Hitman-spill noensinne, og et “ekstremt detaljniv\u00e5”<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Omr\u00e5dene som kan utforskes i det neste Hitman-spillet vil v\u00e6re helt \u00e5pne for utforskning og ulike framgangsm\u00e5ter, og de vil v\u00e6re fri for sjekkpunkter og l\u00e5ste omr\u00e5der. Levende og troverdige niv\u00e5er som tillater lek med spillets AI er m\u00e5let til IO Interactive, noe som h\u00f8res veldig ut som det herlige Hitman: Blood Money fra 2006.<\/p>\n
