Gamespy har i tillegg levert PC-relaterte nyheter, anmeldelser og lignende p\u00e5 deres <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gamespy.com\/\">nettside<\/a>, inntil den ble nedstengt 21. februar i \u00e5r.<\/p>\n<p>N\u00e5 har vi \u00a0ogs\u00e5 f\u00e5tt en dato for n\u00e5r Gamespys flerspillerservere offisielt stenges. Den 31. mai blir samtlige Gamespy-drevne servere nedstengt, og det siste som er igjen av det nesten 20 \u00e5r gamle selskapet blir historie.<\/p>\n<p>Nedstenginen vil f\u00e5 f\u00f8lger for en hel rekke spill, da Gamespy har tatt h\u00e5nd om servere til <a href=\"http:\/\/www.poweredbygamespy.com\/projects\/2010-titles\/\">flere hundre titler<\/a> gjennom \u00e5rene. Det n\u00f8yaktige antallet spill som blir rammet er ikke lett \u00e5 f\u00e5 oversikt over, da en del eldre spill allerede har blitt nedstengt, eller g\u00e5tt over til andre l\u00f8sninger i forkant av Gamespy-nedstenginen. Blant spillene som blir rammet finner vi imidlertid Red Dead Redemption, ArmA-serien og en rekke Nintendo-spill.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Selv om Gamespy-serverne stenges er det imidlertid ikke grunn for full panikk. En del av de st\u00f8rre akt\u00f8rene som bruker selskapet, deriblant Activision, Bohemia Interactive, SEGA og Rockstar, har sagt at de utforsker mulighetene for \u00e5 flytte sine servere, slik at flerspillermodusene kan opprettholdes.
