Dette h\u00e5per de \u00e5 oppn\u00e5 gjennom en ny kampanje utviklet i samarbeid med Medietilsynet, som skal <span style=\"line-height: 16.7999992370605px;\">orientere<\/span>\u00a0foreldre om dataspill som media.<\/p>\n<p>Form\u00e5let med kampanjen er \u00e5 gi en bedre forst\u00e5else om hva spill egentlig dreier seg om, samt \u00e5 gi foreldre hjelp til \u00e5 holde styr p\u00e5 barnas spillvaner. Dette inneb\u00e6rer en innf\u00f8rsel i diverse spillsjangre, spillplattformer, og oversikt over PEGI-systemet, den europeiske aldersmerkingen for spill. Khalid Ezat Azam, r\u00e5dgiver hos medietilsynet, sier f\u00f8lgende om bruken av PEGI-markeringen for veiledning:<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;PEGI baserer seg p\u00e5 et samarbeid mellom mange forskjellige europeiske<span style=\"line-height: 1.4em;\">land som har ulike syn p\u00e5 barn og forskjellige tradisjoner for vern av barn. Derfor b\u00f8r norske foreldre vurdere det enkelte spills potensiale ut fra hvilke sammenhenger spillet brukes i. Det er en god id\u00e9 \u00e5 r\u00e5df\u00f8re seg med barna, siden det ofte er dem som har kunnskap om spilltyper, innhold og hvordan spillene spilles i forskjellige sammenhenger&#8221;<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"line-height: 1.4em;\"> <\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p>NSMs kampanje skal presenteres for offentligheten under Dataspillkonferansen i Oslo, som holdes klokken ni i morgen tidlig. P\u00e5 kampanjens <a href=\"http:\/\/angi-nordic.com\/nsm-spillguide\/kampagne-no\/\">nettside<\/a>\u00a0kan man finne mer informasjon om form\u00e5let, samt lese den 25 sider lange foreldreh\u00e5ndboken i pdf-format.<\/p>\n<p>H\u00e5ndboken gir ikke kun informasjon om spillmediet og PEGI-aldersgrenser, men den gir ogs\u00e5 konkret hjelp til hvordan foreldre kan f\u00e5 mer kontroll over hva barna kan spille p\u00e5 de mest dagsaktuelle konsollene.
