Fra 29. desember til den 18. januar sto Halo 5: Guardians-utvikleren 343 Industries for en flerspillerbeta for spillet, og i en pressemelding har Microsoft presentert tallene fra de tre ukene. De er svimlende h\u00f8ye, og mye klokker inn p\u00e5 seks- og syvsifrede tall – noe som gj\u00f8r at man kan konkludere med at betaen var en stor suksess for utvikleren og Microsoft.<\/p>\n

Til sammen har om lag to og en halv million timer, eller 290 \u00e5r, blitt spilt, og antall kamper er p\u00e5 cirka 20 millioner. Samtidig har seks milliarder skudd blitt avfyrt over de tre ukene, og drap har blitt utf\u00f8rt over 181 millioner ganger. Microsoft har frigjort mye interessant statistikk, som du kan se alt av i oversikten nedenfor.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

343 Industries selv er overveldet over statistikken, og er mildt sagt lettet over suksessen etter \u00e5 ha g\u00e5tt inn i det hele med nerv\u00f8sitet. Josh Holmes fra studioet kunne fortelle dette til Xbox Wire<\/a>, Microsofts offisielle side for Xbox-konsollene:<\/p>\n

“Dette var en stor jobb for Halo 5-teamet og en vi m\u00f8tte med nerv\u00f8sitet og spenning. Vi er utrolig glade for resultatene, og responsen og engasjementet rundt betaen irettesatte v\u00e5re forventninger fullstendig.”<\/em><\/p>\n

Videre forteller Holmes at de har jobbet veldig mye med \u00e5 ta til seg respons fra spillerne selv, og at de har samlet inn en haug fra ulike kanaler.
