Academy of Interactive Arts & Science (AIAS) har offentliggjort listen over spill som har blitt nominert til årets D.I.C.E.-prisutdeling, melder Games Industry.

Bare toppspill

Skal vi gå ut fra diverse Årets spill-kåringer for 2012 så langt, ser det ut til å være en generell enighet om topptitlene: Journey, The Walking Dead og Dishonored. Også i AIAS’ kåring skiller disse seg ut, med henholdsvis elleve, åtte og fem nominasjoner.

Men det er ikke like rått parti som i andre utdelinger. Det ypperlige sandkassespillet Far Cry 3, som kom så sent på året at de fleste har hoppet over det, har sikret seg hele syv nominasjoner, og Halo 4 med seks og Borderlands 2 med sine fem følger etter rett bak. En annen gledelig overraskelse er at strategiperlen XCOM: Enemy Unknown er nominert til den gjeveste prisen, Årets spill.
